How to Clean Nooks and Crannies in Sports Bottles & More!

Some items, such as sports and baby bottles, as well as some kitchen utensils, have some really impossible to reach nooks and crannies. Before using this trick, no matter how much I scrubbed, soaked, and boiled, I could not thoroughly remove the smell of bacteria and gunk from my sports bottles. That is until I started using this nifty little trick...

What's the secret to cleaning these hard-to-clean spots? Hydrogen peroxide! I squirt some hydrogen peroxide direc
tly onto my problematic sports bottle tops. The trick is to allow the hydrogen peroxide to puddle in the problem areas and work its magic. How's it work you ask?

Hydrogen peroxide is a great antiseptic, as you probably already know. It works by oxidizing anything that is organic, including bacteria and viruses. By killing off the bacteria, you kill off that nasty smell. Hydrogen peroxide is also effective at removing remnant food and drink.

As the hydrogen peroxide bubbles, it actually scrubs free an food and drink particulate. Within no time at all, you can see the once hidden crud bubbling up to the surface. After the bubbling ceases, you can rinse your newly cleaned and sanitized items under some running hot water.

The best thing is that hydrogen peroxide is super cheap and you don't need gallons of it! Even if you have a difficult or even impossible time attempting to puddle the hydrogen peroxide, don't give up. Just letting it make contact a few times with a squirt or two will perform wonders.

Try it out and let everyone know what you use it on! And as always, don't forget to Like and Share!
