Fungus Gnat UPDATE V2.0
(Don't forget to read V1.0 as there is important info here too!)
My wife Marisa came up with a great idea for improving upon our already successful fungus gnat killing tools.
Take the homemade yellow sticky paper, made with yellow paper and Vaseline, and use a fork to get it vertical!
As an added bonus, smear some Vaseline along the rim of your pots. Fungus gnats like popping a squat there while they eye up the sticky yellow traps outlined above.
On a side note, fungus gnats have a tough time dealing with sand! The sand dries quickly and deems as an unsuitable place to lay their eggs since they desire moisture. All you need is some beach sand across the top of your pots. While you can use less, 3/8" - 1/2" is most successful.
If you use these traps, in conjunction with the already popular vinegar traps and the sand outlined above, you should have great success in ridding your home of these little buggers.
